01 / Follow the work

A little distance.
A clear view.

01

Know where it stands.

Render, File Cache and TOP/PDG progress in one place. Check frames or work items, elapsed time and ETA.

02

Keep the right controls.

Submit and manage supported jobs. Stop, pause or retry when the node and execution mode allow it.

03

Take the overview with you.

Check workstation resources on desktop or mobile. Link Discord for selected alerts and commands.

02 / Made for your workstation

Same machine.
More freedom.

Relay is not a render farm. Jobs use your own workstation and your own Houdini and renderer licenses.

    Install the Windows Agent.

Use the guided installer and activate your license.

  2. 02

    Open Houdini as usual.

The Relay package loads in supported Houdini sessions.

  3. 03

    Check in from anywhere.

Sign in to the hosted dashboard. No personal server or router port forwarding to configure.

Try it in your workflow.

Help shape Relay with feedback from real projects and different hardware setups.

Before you start

A few useful details.

What do I need?

A Windows 10/11 workstation with Houdini 21 or newer, internet access and a modern browser. Discord is optional.

Does Relay render in the cloud?

No. Houdini work runs on your own workstation. Relay provides the hosted dashboard, status updates and supported remote controls.

Can I control every Houdini job?

Available controls depend on the node and execution mode. Managed background jobs and work started inside an interactive Houdini session have different capabilities. Separate Hython/Husk sessions may require additional licenses.

What happens after the beta?

Your beta access ends after 30 days. It does not automatically switch to a paid plan. You can choose a paid plan separately if Relay fits your workflow.

Where can I get help or share feedback?

Email [email protected] with your Windows and Houdini versions and a description of the issue. Please do not include license keys, passwords or private project files.
